I’m Samantha, and I believe the most powerful stories aren’t staged - they’re felt.
They’re found in the quiet squeezes of hands, the deep breaths before walking down the aisle, the laughter that bubbles over when you forget anyone’s watching. The moments where you’re fully present, deeply connected, and completely yourselves.
I began photographing weddings to hold onto those moments - the ones that pass too quickly, but stay with you forever. What started with a camera and a love for storytelling has grown into a calling: to document love in a way that feels honest, timeless, and true to you.
Because the most beautiful photographs aren’t about perfection.

Based in the heart of Aberdeenshire, I photograph weddings, newborns, and growing families with a whole lot of heart.
Before photography, I was a primary school teacher - a role that shaped how I work to this day. It taught me patience, empathy, and how to notice the quiet moments that often go unseen. Those skills now guide everything I do behind the camera.
Whether I’m calming pre-ceremony nerves, gently settling a newborn, or chasing giggles through a field, my goal is simple: to help you feel relaxed, seen, and completely yourself. No pressure. No stiff posing. Just you and your people, as you really are.
Photography runs in my blood. My Granda was a wedding photographer in Peterhead, and I grew up watching love stories unfold long before I photographed my first wedding in 2020. But becoming a mum is what truly changed everything - it deepened my need to pause time and hold onto the moments that pass far too quickly.
That’s why I photograph the in-between.
The hugs. The glances. The laughter.
Because that’s where the magic lives.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at home with Mark, our wee boy Alfie, and our labrador Nero, soaking up the everyday moments that remind me why this work matters so much. Family, connection, and home sit at the heart of everything I do.
