sessions CAN take place outdoors, on location within Aberdeen(shire) OR WITHIN MY STUDIO, IN PETERHEAD, ABERDEENSHIRE. Choose a location special to you, or lets head to you campus and get special graduation photos taken right on the university campus (Only available for RGU and Aberdeen University Graduates).

Travel supplements may apply to locations > 50 miles from AB42 to account for the extra travel time required and mileage (typically changed at c.45p per mile)

Graduation gown hire NOW INCLUDED and available to use from the studio for your session. White hood will be supplied as standard but if you require a different colour hood, please do let me know prior to your session.
A: As soon as you know when your graduation day is taking place, I recommend getting in touch. My summer dates especially fill up with Weddings so I do take on a limited amount of work during those months. If you know you graduation will take place in summer months, the sooner the better.
Q: when should i schedule my graduation SESSION?
A: Absolutely! Family is more than welcome in these photographs - It takes a village and chances are, your family have been supporting you from the sidelines throughout your further education journey. When family is involved, I usually start your graduation session with more formal portraits with family, and then move on to you yourself.
Q: Can i include my family in the photos?
A: I got you! I have some dummy scrolls for photographic purposes, so these can be used. Having your portraits done before your actual ceremony then means you can enjoy the day without the added pressure of being somewhere for a specific time for your photograph.
Q:if my photographs are taken before my ceremony, i won't have a certificate to hold in the photograph. does this matteR?
A: Of course! I've photographed Graduations in various locations across Aberdeenshire; including: Pitfour lake, Aden Park, Haddo House, and even the Beach!
If you wanted something a little more traditional, I'm happy to travel to your Aberdeen Campus - either RGU or Aberdeen University to have your photographs taken on campus also. I myself am an Aberdeen University graduate so know all the best spots!
Studio Sessions are also available in my studio in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.
Q: i dont know where to have my photographs taken. Can you recommend a location?
A: Absolutely! You are not tied to your actual graduation day, I am happy to work around you. I have a cap and gown in studio that you are welcome to use which saves the extra cost of renting your cap and gown for additional time. Having your photos taken after the event also means you don't feel the pressure on the day and can actually be present and enjoy it!
Q: I want my photos taken after my graduation day. is this possible?
I got you! I have invested in my own studio cap and gown which you are more than welcome to use. I also have a plain white hood also, however if there is a specific colour you need for the photographs, please let me know in advance as I would happily source this for you.
Q: I don't have a cap and gown. what will i do?
A: Your viewing and ordering appointment is when you get to see your images for the first time. After your graduation session, we will schedule a date that works for you all to come back to the studio to view your images on the big screen. This is my favourite part of our journey together. I get to see first hand how much you love the photographs, and I am there to help you make any decisions on your chosen image collection and how you will display your photographs in your home.
All decision makers should be present within the appointment and payment for your chosen collection should be made during this time before any images are released. Pay in three options are available. Please just ask for more information.
