It's true, blink and you miss it. Kids grow up so quickly. One minute they are your tiny little newborn, snuggled on your chest as you gently rub your cheek on their newly created soft head, the next, they are fully sitting up, smiling, laughing and really growing into their personality.
Thats where sitter sessions come in! These sessions are designed to focus on your precious bundle. They are engaging and fun and guarenteed to make your little one smile!
SITTER SESSIONS
These sessions are stylised within my cosy white studio, based in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. I have a range of neutral wooden toys which are brought out to help encourage your little ones curiosity and get their cheeky personality through within the photographs. I highly encourage parents to get silly - don't worry about me, I don't judge! You know your baby best and are the best person to get those guaranteed smiles from them. So there will be a lot of dancing, silly noises, playing and bubbles (because who doesn't love bubbles!).
Worried about what your little one will wear? Don't stress, I got you! I have a range of outfits suitable from 6-12 months within my Peterhead studio that you are more than welcome to use.

Our daughters first photo session with Samantha was honestly one of the best days after we brought her home. It was so relaxed which suited us to a tee. Getting professional photos is not our idea of fun but when we visited Sam it was like going to see a pal. And when we got to see the final results I actually cried. Our framed photo and album takes pride of place in our home.

Are we a fit? lets chat!
The next step in the process is to organise a little get together before baby arrives! Let’s face it, you are trusting me with the most important little person in your world, so I think its super important to meet with you before hand so you get to know me before handing over your pride and joy. You’ll be invited to the studio for a coffee and we will chat through everything you need to know about your newborn session. I’ll go into detail on how to best prepare your family, newborn (and even the dog if you decide to include them too!). The aim from this chat is to walk away with all questions answered,

Coffee and claick
At the end of your newborn session, I'll set a date to invite you back into the studio so you can view your images for the first time! This can get pretty emotional - for me too! I'll have tissues at the ready, and I'll be on hand to help you select the collection of images that best fits your family. You will also have the opportunity to see how your images will look on your own wall at home thanks to my state-of-the-art software only available in studio. My clients don’t intend to let their images live solely on hard drives and phone screens. Your Child’s image deserves to be proudly displayed in your home.
I will walk you through options for enjoying your images in your hands for years to come. I offer a full range of print products and all orders can be made during your viewing session. Easy peasy!

My studio is designed to be a warming, calming place where you can sit back and relax as I create magic.

A booking fee of £50 is required to reserve your session.

A: As soon as your little love is sitting unaided. Theres a short time between when they can sit unaided and then they begin crawling. That period of time between the two is when you want this session. Crawlers are of course welcome, but I recommend taking your step counter as it is a little bit of a work out!
Q:WHen should I book my sitter session?
A: My style lends itself towards simplistic, neutral and timeless. I exclusively shoot on white during my newborn sessions, so as parents to take this into account when deciding what to wear for the photos. Avoid loud patterns, large logos and bright colours to ensure the focus of the photograph is purely on your new family unit.
Whites, beiges, creams work well in my studio.
Mums - I got you covered. I have a client wardrobe you are more than welcome to use during our time together.
Q: What should we (parents) wear to the session?
A: This session is an all-inclusive sessions which means any usable images from the session will be edited and uploaded onto an online gallery. The link to the gallery will be shared with you once the images are ready - for you to download. You will have access to an online store where you can then purchase any prints, acrylics, albums etc.
